'Blind Dave' completes Dubai run

The 50-year-old now has just two marathons to complete

A blind man attempting to run seven marathons in seven days has completed his fifth challenge in Dubai.

"Blind Dave" Heeley, from West Bromwich, and his guide Malcolm Carr, completed the 13 laps of Safa Park in four hours 55 minutes.

The 50-year-old and his team have already finished marathons in Rio de Janeiro, the Falklands, Los Angeles and Sydney.

They travel to Tunis and then run in the London Marathon on Sunday.
