Teenager injured in wall collapse

A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital after a wall collapsed on top of him in Birmingham city centre.

Paramedics, including search and rescue teams, were called to the bus stop on Carrs Lane, near the city's High Street, just before 1550 BST on Sunday.

The boy, who has not been named, suffered back injuries and was taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital for further treatment.

His condition is not known. No-one else was injured in the incident.
