Warning over stadium development
Brandywell
The company plans to regenerate Brandywell stadium
The company planning to regenerate Brandywell stadium says it could pull out of the project.

Brandywell Properties gave Derry City Council a presentation outlining its plans for the site on Monday.

However, the council decided not to proceed until a meeting was held with all groups which use the facility.

The chairman of Brandywell Properties, Jackie McCauley, said there had already been enough consultation and the project was now in jeopardy.

Derry City Council's director of development, John Meehan, said Brandywell Properties remained the council's preferred developer.

He said the council would be in contact with the company on Tuesday and hoped to move the project forward.
