Family sought by rape case police

Police investigating an alleged rape in Bridlington want to trace a family who asked the suspects to take their photograph minutes before the attack.

Two men were with the victim, a 38-year-old Leeds woman, on the seafront at 1800 BST on Sunday, 11 May.

Police say they were approached by a family who asked them to take their photograph. Less than half an hour later the woman was attacked in a car.

Det Sgt Tim Tomkins said: "It is important we speak to this family."

The officer, who is leading the investigation, said: "If you were on the seafront in Bridlington around this time and asked two men and a woman to take your picture please get in touch.

"Inquiries are ongoing and I would like to speak to anyone else who may have any information."

Rabar Yossaf Salih, 24, and Aram Nagmadin, 31, both of William Street, Hull, appeared before Beverley magistrates on Saturday charged with rape.

They were remanded in custody to appear before Hull Crown Court.
