Two arrested in city drugs bust

A man and a woman have been arrested in a drugs bust in Belfast during which guns, cannabis and cash were seized.

The 25 and 20-year-old were arrested following the raid in the Ballymurphy area of the city on Friday.

A police spokesman said the cannabis seized had an estimated street value of £30,000.

During another raid at a second property in the area, a quantity of cash was recovered. There were no arrests as a result of the second raid.
