John Terry is likely to be Sol Campbell's centre-half partner in Rio Ferdinand's absence, but some would argue he could take that spot on merit anyway.
Like Campbel, he is an imposing physical presence and is perhaps quicker than he looks with surprisingly good passing skills.
The timing of his tackling is also very good and he never puts in less than 100% effort.
