The Three Peaks Challenge is when you climb the three tallest mountains in Britain - Snowdon in Wales, Scafell Pike in England and Ben Nevis in Scotland.

Press Packer Jack completed the challenge with his family. Read his report.

"Over the last weekend in June I went with my mum, dad, big sister Lucy (12) and my twin sister Chloe (9) to try to do the Three Peaks Challenge.

This is when you try to climb the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales.

The usual challenge is to try to do all three in one day, but we were taking three days.

We completed Ben Nevis in around eight hours and there was snow on the top which was really cool.

We then travelled for five hours to the Lake District in England to climb Scafell Pike on Saturday.

Its rained all day and we got really wet.

On Sunday we went to Wales to climb Snowdon. We got to within 50ft of the top but had to turn back because of dangerous weather.

Hard work

The hardest to climb was Snowdon due to the weather but the climb up Ben Nevis was really tough too.

We still feel we have completed the challenge and helped to raise 25,000 for our school in St Albans and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

We are all really proud of ourselves."
