They say curiosity killed the cat, but it was nearly the end for this little fox cub when he decided to check out a small watering can
The baby fox was snuffling around a garden in Surrey when he decided to investigate the can. And got his head stuck in it
Luckily, the owners of the house heard his cries as he banged around their garden. So they picked him up and took him to Wildlife Aid in nearby Leatherhead.
Animal expert Simon Cowell took 20 minutes to pull the cub out of the can.
He's out! And luckily the little cub was unharmed.
Simon was very relieved that the cub was safe, and that the metal from the can hadn't dug into him at all.
The cub was salivating a bit because he was hungry, but he's now been fed well.
Simon said the fox has been named Jacob.
He had to act quite quickly, as if the cub had been stuck much longer, he could have died.
Time for a quick cuddle with his rescuer...
Jacob is now safe and happy. And he'll be released back into the wild in the summer.
