A boy from Wales is refusing to go to school because he says he is too clever for the classroom.
Cliff Jones says school is too slow for him and wants to be moved up a year so he can start studying for his GCSEs a year early.
Very brainy
Cliff has had his intelligence tested by a club for brainy people called Mensa. Their tests reckon he is in the top three per cent of brainy people in the country.
At school other children call Cliff a swot, which is one of the reasons that he doesn't want to go to school.
School say tests aren't right
The headteacher at Fairwater High School, Stephen Cocks, said that Cliff's work didn't show any signs of his high intelligence.
Mr Cocks also said that Cliff doesn't go to school often enough and that Mensa's tests weren't the best way to tell how clever someone is.
