Morgan pulls out of tour
Craig Morgan
Craig Morgan's try-scoring prowess will be missed
Craig Morgan's Wales tour lasted just 17 minutes on the field, the knee damage sustained in the opening match loss to Suntory proving serious enough to prevent him playing in the next 12 days.

The prolific Cardiff wing was on crutches on Tuesday night.

He will depart on Thursday as Pontypridd wing Gareth Wyatt arrives as a replacement.

But it is doubtful whether Wyatt will have much chance of adding to his one cap, won in 1997.

After jet-lag clears, he would have to have a spectacular game next Wednesday against the Pacific Barbarians in Tokyo to stand any chance of jumping ahead of Gareth Thomas, Mark Jones and Shane Williams.

But the 24-year-old was pleased to get the call up after missing the first half of the season through injury.

"Hopefully it won't be too difficult to settle in because I have a lot of friends already out there," he said.

Wyatt has already had first-hand experience of the stifling humidity in Japan, which contributed to Wales' opening defeat, having represented Wales in the IRB Sevens there earlier this year.

Cardiff centre Jamie Robinson also had a knee scan, but his injury was only minor and he remains on tour.
