Egypt's Mido still with Ajax

Egypt's teenage international striker Ahmed "Mido" Hossam has not been dropped from Dutch club Ajax, the club said.
It said Mido will remain first team squad despite a training ground bust-up with coach Ronald Koeman. The striker was in Cairo, having left Amsterdam on Saturday, after a fall-out with Koeman in the morning. He missed Sunday's top of the first division clash with rivals Feyenoord. The match finished 1-1. Team sport Mido, third in line behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Nikos Machlas for a striker's berth, is unhappy at the lack of first-team opportunities. But Koeman is unhappy with the 19-year-old's attitude. "Football is a team sport, that's all I want to say about this," said Koeman. The club said the forward will resume training with the Ajax first-team squad. Mido, as he is popularly known, played for Egypt at the African Nations Cup in Mali.
