Predict the results and update the league table

As the Premier League and Football League seasons enter their final furlong, several stories are still waiting to be written.

A dogged Chelsea are now three points behind Premier League leaders Manchester United, though they can bring themselves back level with a win at Newcastle on Monday.

Then there is the race for Uefa Cup qualifying places, not to mention the scrap for survival, which will go to the wire.

In the Championship, West Brom are all but certain to go up with Stoke favourites to join them, though Hull still harbour hopes of a top-two finish.

Whoever misses out will join Bristol City and two other teams in the play-offs. Scunthorpe and Colchester are down, but the battle to avoid the last relegation spot is red hot.

Swansea have secured the League One title, and they will be joined in the Championship next season by Nottingham Forest, who snatched second spot on the last day of the season.

Bournemouth, Gillingham, Port Vale and Luton are relegated to League Two.

In League Two, MK Dons, Peterborough and Hereford are automatically promoted, Stockport, Rochdale, Darlington and Wycombe will contest the play-offs, and Mansfield and Wrexham drop out of the league.

If you fancy yourself as a bit of a pundit, you can make your own guess at how things will turn out by using the Score Predictors on the BBC Sport website.

Listing every remaining fixture between now and the end of the campaign, the Predictors give you the chance to forecast results in any of the top four English divisions and see the impact those scores would have on the league table.

You can predict one result or all of them - our table will update whenever you ask it to.
