Egyptian stiker Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam is set to join French side
Mido is delighted with Marseille option
The 20-year-old Egyptian international is expected to arrive in Marseille on Monday to discuss a possible transfer with officials.
Mido is in the books of Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam, who loaned him to Spanish side Celta Vigo earlier this year.
Marseille are reportedly prepared to pay Ajax's transfer tag of 12 million Euros for the Egyptian.
If the talks are successul, Mido will sign on Monday.
Upon his arrival at Celta Vigo he instantly made an impact and helped the Spaniards book a place in the Uefa Champions League after a decisive goal against Real Sociedad in the 3-2 win on 15 June.
Ajax loaned Mido following disputes with his coach Ronald Koeman.
Mido, who has confirmed the news exclusively to BBC Sport in Cairo, said he will be pleased to join the French side.
