Egypt has named four Europe-based players for their 2006 World Cup qualifier against Libya on 26 March.
The four, who were left out of last week's friendly against Saudi Arabia, are among a 24-man squad named by coach Hassan Shehata for the match in Cairo.
Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam, who plays for England's Tottenham Hotspur, has been recalled after being axed from the national team last September.
Mido had claimed that he was injured but then played for former club AS Roma within 24 hours of the World Cup qualifier that he missed.
Mido apologised to the Egyptian Football Association last month.
The Turkey-based trio of Abdel Zaher El Sakka, Bechir El-Tabey and Ahmed Hassan are the other Europe-based players in the Pharaohs' squad.
Al Ahly midfielder Mohamed Barakat and Hosni Abd Rabou of Ismaili, who missed last week's friendly against Saudi Arabia through injury, were also included in the squad.
Egypt are currently fourth in Group Three with seven points, five adrift of leaders Ivory Coast.
