The Confederation Cup currently resides in Tunisia with CS Sfaxien

The Confederation Cup is the second-tier knockout competition for clubs from across the African continent.
The countries who have faired best in continental competition over the previous five years can enter a cup winner and third-place side from their national league, into the event.
The losers from the final 16 of the Champions League enter the Confederation Cup at a later time to decide which eight teams will go forward to the group stages.
Unlike the Champions League, however, there are no semi-finals in the Confederation Cup, instead the group winners meet in a two-legged final.
The current champions are Tunisia's CS Sfaxien who beat Sudan's Al Merreikh 5-2 on aggregate in last year's final.
