PSG, PSV hit by home bans
![]() Galatasaray and PSG fans clash in Paris
Paris St Germain have been banned from their Parc des Princes ground for three European matches following crowd violence during a Champions League game against Galatasaray.
Uefa also handed out a £410,000 fine to the French club and also penalised Galatasaray to the tune of £82,000 for the Turkish club's "lack of cooperation in controlling their fans". A total of 56 people were injured following violence at the match between the two sides a week ago. The game had to be stopped for 20 minutes after rival fans fought and two spectators wearing Galatasaray colours ran on to the pitch. PSG won the game 2-0 but did not qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Galatasaray, who were already assured of a place in the last eight. And Dutch side PSV Eindhoven have been given a one-match stadium ban by Uefa following crowd trouble at their Uefa Cup quarter-final match against Kaiserslautern on March 15. The ban means they will have to pay their next match in a Uefa club competition at least 100 kilometres from Eindhoven.
