Forest Green scored in either half to run out comfortable winners.

Mark Preece headed home Alex Lawless's corner into the bottom left corner of the goal to give Rovers a well-deserved lead after 23 minutes.

Paul Stonehouse added a second on 70 minutes when Stuart Fleetwood's cross fell kindly to the midfielder and he tucked the ball home from close range.

There was no way back for Celtic who are in desperate need of points with just two games remaining.
