Stafford earned a win over Droylsden as they climbed off the foot of the table at the expense of their beaten rivals, who had Ged Murphy sent-off.
Neil Grayson put the home side ahead when he powered in an effort before Droylsden's Murphy was red-carded for a foul on Jonathan Loukes.
The visitors did manage to pull level with a Sean Newton free-kick.
But Sangare Djoumin set-up Nick Wellecomm to restore Stafford's lead after 69 minutes.
