Farnborough pull off Scott coup

Southern League Premier Division-bound Farnborough have signed midfielder Ryan Scott on a two-year deal.

The 21-year-old was recently released by Blue Square Premier champions Aldershot after an injury-hit season.

Farnborough manager Francis Vines told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "Ryan is an excellent addition to our squad.

"He has played a number of Conference matches. I'm sure if he did not sustain the injury when he did, he would have played a major role for Aldershot."

Farnborough, who won the Division One South & West last season, have also signed Bognor Regis utility man David Ray on a one-year deal.
