Sheridan has the Latics pushing for promotion to the Championship

Oldham Athletic boss John Sheridan has signed a new three-year contract at Boundary Park.
Sheridan, 42, was appointed last summer following the departure of Ronnie Moore on an initial 12-month deal.
Sheridan's side are set for a play-off place in League One this season and he has now signed up until June 2010.
He told Oldham's website: "I'm happy with the way things are going this season and now this is sorted out we can push on."
