Newry defenders sign new deals

Left full-back Cullen Feeney
Left full-back Cullen Feeney impressed for Newry last season

Newry City central defender Cullen Feeney and full-back Darren King have signed new two-year contracts with the Showgrounds club.

Securing their services is a major boost for boss Gerry Flynn as he starts to assemble his squad for next season.

Flynn also expects brothers Sean and Emmet Friars to pledge their futures to City by signing contract extensions in the next two days.

Newry finished eighth in the Carnegie Premier League last season.
