Reds' star wins top player award

Llanelli striker Rhys Griffiths
Griffiths scored 58 goals this season winning the league's Golden Boot

Llanelli marksman Rhys Griffiths has been voted Welsh Premier League player of the season.

Striker Griffiths, who scored 58 goals this year, was chosen by 15 of the league's 18 managers.

Bangor City striker Ashley Stott came in second followed by New Saints' midfielder John Leah in third.

Griffiths also won the league's Golden Boot for the third time in a row, bringing his goal tally to 98 since signing for the Reds in 2005.
