Linlithgow Rose and Pollok were league champions last season
|
Junior clubs enjoyed their historic introduction to the Scottish Cup with a clean sweep of victories in Saturday's first round.
Linlithgow Rose won 6-0 at Newton Stewart, while Culter went one better - beating Hawick Royal Albert 7-0.
Pollok made it a trio of high-scoring wins with a comfortable 6-2 triumph at St Cuthbert Wanderers.
And Girvan completed a good day for the juniors with a 2-0 home win against Forres Mechanics.
It is the first year members of the Junior FA have entered the cup.
Until now, "non-league" outfits given places were from the Highland League and Scotland's amateur leagues.
But this season it has also been opened up to the champions of the three semi-professional regional junior superleagues and the Junior Cup winners.
