Dumbarton eased past Forfar to take their place in the third round of the Scottish Cup.
First half goals from Robert Campbell and Niall Henderson put the Sons on cruise control.
Forfar held their own in drawing 1-1 when the sides met in last month's second round tie at Station Park, but were outplayed in the replay.
David McFarlane added a third in the second period to set up Dumbarton with a home tie against Berwick Rangers.
