Cove Rangers 1-0 Edinburgh Univ

Phil McKibben's last-gasp strike for Cove Rangers knocked a hard-working Edinburgh University side out of the Scottish Cup in a scrappy encounter.

The students had hopes of their third Highland League scalp in two seasons after a poor first half.

Edinburgh's Steven Maxwell had an effort come off the woodwork early in the second half.

But Cove had more second-half chances and Barrie Stephen's cross went in off McKibben's shin after 89 minutes.
