Airdrie United hit two extra-time goals at Hampden to set up a Scottish Cup fourth round tie with Kilmarnock.
The visitors surged into an early lead thanks to a drilled strike from Kevin McDonald and Stuart Noble's excellent solo run and shot.
Steve Canning had a penalty saved by Stephen Robertson but Alan Trouten lashed in a 75th minute effort.
Mark Ferry netted in stoppage time but
Allan Russell's deflected free kick and an Alan Watt's toe poke settled it.
