Peterhead 4-1 Ayr United

Peterhead kept their faint play-off hopes alive with a convincing win.

The home team stormed in front after 15 minutes when David Ross fired high into the net and Stuart Anderson added a low shot from 18 yards.

Ross struck again just after the restart, hitting a tremendous shot that went in off a post.

He then set up Martin Bavidge for an easy tap-in for Peterhead's fourth after 63 minutes, before David Lowing's close-range finish for Ayr United.
