Morton gave themselves a chance of avoiding the relegation play-offs
with victory at home to Dunfermline.
Morton's first goal came on 14 minutes when Brian Wake pounced on a loose ball to fire into the net from 10 yards.
The Pars were made to pay for some missed chances as Morton doubled their lead in the 59th minute through Ryan Harding's close range strike.
And Kevin Finlayson secured the points on 73 minutes, beating three men before steering his shot in off the post.
