Alloa took the lead when Andy Scott converted Agnew's cross in the 31st-minute. Clyde equalised through Steve Masterton's free-kick.

The hosts scored the winning goal eight minutes from time through substitute Adam Coakley's angled drive.

Alloa manager Alan Maitland:

"Clyde dominated much of the second half.

"But to break away and score the quality of goal we did has given everyoen in the dressing room a massive lift."

Clyde manager John Brown:

"Alloa had a game plan and stuck by it. We conceded two slack goals and I think one or two of the boys thought they just had to turn up.

"Alloa showed desire and deserved to win. We didn't have enough quality in the right areas.

"Their forwards caused our defenders problems all night. We need to show far greater commitment on Saturday."
