Stanley poised to seal Brown deal
Accrington Stanley expect to get the all-clear to seal the signing of David Brown in time for him to make his debut in the weekend derby with Morecambe.

The 26-year-old striker last week agreed a deal until the end of the season following his departure from play-off rivals Hereford United.

However, a delay in his release from the Bulls prevented him from playing in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Carlisle.

Meanwhile, Stanley expect Lee McEvilly to make a quick recovery from injury.

The striker sustained a groin injury while playing against the Cumbrians.
