Maitland's side have a chance of promotion via the play-offs

Alloa Athletic's Allan Maitland has been voted the Irn Bru Second Division manager of the month for April.

The Wasps claimed the fourth and final play-off spot with two wins and two draws last month.

"We have done really well to finish behind the full-time sides in our league," Maitland told BBC Sport.

"Our boys are at a disadvantage since they only get a touch of a ball on Tuesdays and Thursdays but we aim to be the best part-time team in Scotland."
