Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor says he has proved those who thought he was a 'one-season wonder' wrong.
The 21-year-old scored 11 goals as Villa finished in sixth place in the Premier League, earning an England call-up in the process.
"I definitely feel I've had a good season. I was keen to make people realise I could have another good one and I have pushed on more," he said.
"I've proved the doubters wrong and hopefully shut my critics up now."
Agbonlahor is in the England Under-21 squad for their game with Wales on Thursday and is part of Fabio Capello's party for England's friendlies with USA and Trinidad and Tobago at the end of the month.
"I'm really pleased to get my call-up again after missing out earlier in the season when I got injured at Fulham," he told the Villa website.
