Ayr United manager Brian Reid clinched the Irn-Bru Division Two manager of the month award after moving his side away from the bottom of the table.

The Somerset Park side had four wins and three draws in recent matches to keep clear of the relegation play-off spot and closer to mid-table security.

Reid took charge of Ayr after Neil Watt left the club in October.

He will now have the close season to mould his own team for the next campaign in Division Two.
