Hollands to stay at Bournemouth

Bournemouth midfielder Danny Hollands is reported to have agreed a new deal with the League Two club.

The ex-Chelsea reserve team captain had been linked with League One side Colchester but is now set to stay.

"Apart from Josh Gowling, we have now successfully negotiated with all of our out-of-contract players," chairman Jeff Mostyn told the Daily Echo.

The Cherries remain in administration and face a points deduction going into next season.

After the sale of Sam Vokes to Wolves, only Gowling has left the club with a move to Carlisle United.

Mostyn added: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the players for the commitment they have shown the club by remaining loyal despite the current position we find ourselves in.

"Both manager Kevin (Bond) and I have done everything in our power to retain the players that finished the season in magnificent style.

"This we believe will give us the best possible chance of making progress in League Two."
