Brighton striker Nicky Forster has described his first season with the club as "one of his favourites" after his £75,000 summer move from Hull.
Forster has hit 19 goals so far to help Albion to a seventh-placed finish.
The 34-year-old striker told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "The youngsters' enthusiasm and will to improve has rubbed off on me.
"I've scored my quota of goals and been honoured with the captain's armband. It's been really enjoyable."

This has been a good season. If we can build on it for next season and go one stage better we'll get in the play-offs

Forster has pinpointed January as the time when the Albion's play-off challenge fell away.
"We didn't get enough points and we were thin on the ground. It took us a while to bring new players in - that was the time that harmed us the most."
The striker expects a play-off challenge again in 2008/09.
"This has been a good season. If we can build on it for next season and go one stage better we'll get in the play-offs."
