Simpson is "delighted" to have signed Tierney

Carlisle have signed Oldham defender Marc Tierney on a month's loan.
The 19-year-old left-sided defender has played just a handful of senior games at Oldham but has impressed Carlisle boss Paul Simpson at reserve level.
"He has plenty to offer. He is keen to play and keen to be involved so we are delighted to have him here," Simpson told his club's website.
Meanwhile, Carlisle have formally exited administration, two-and-a-half years after the administrators arrived.
Oldham have been boosted by the news that Manchester City winger Lee Croft has been allowed to stay on loan for another month.
However, City have insisted upon a 24-hour recall clause - while the player will not be allowed to turn out for Oldham when the sides meet in the FA Cup third round.
