Crawley boss Steve Evans thought his side could have won by nine after Saturday's 3-1 victory at Stafford.
The Reds came from a goal down to beat Steve Bull's relegated Rangers.
Evans told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "It's no exaggeration to say we could have boosted our goal difference by eight or nine goals today.
"Steve Bull told me that was the best away performance he's seen here. It's still a nice compliment to get from a man for whom I have very high regard."
