Darlington boss Dave Penney has praised striker Curtis Main after the teenager became the youngest Quakers player in history at Peterborough on Saturday.
Main, 15, came on as a substitute for midfielder Ricky Ravenhill and Penney was delighted with his impact.
"We're light on numbers in the centre forward area and he's been in the squad a couple of times," he told BBC Tees.
"It was nice to get him on, he acquitted himself well, has good character and is a good footballer."
Goalkeeper David Stockdale will depart for Fulham once Darlington complete their play-off involvement and Penney was cautious not to lose the 22-year-old for the semi-final with Rochdale after he hobbled off during Saturday's game.

"It's just a kick on the top of his foot and he was struggling to kick it," said Penney.
"Stockdale will be in tomorrow with the physio and we'll get it iced up.
"But Przemyslaw Kazimierczak came in and did well and it was nice to get a clean sheet."
