Hughes and Falkirk are on the verge of a top-six finish
|
Falkirk manager John Hughes was delighted with his defence as the Bairns picked up a crucial point against Hearts at Tynecastle.
"I thought the boys were resolute, Scobbie and Arfield were outstanding for two kids," he said.
"It's unfair to name names but I thought Darren Barr was head and shoulders above everyone else - it was a real captain's performance.
"I thought we could have stolen it but it was a real good afternoon for us."
The result means that a home win over Kilmarnock next week would seal a top-six finish for the Bairns.
"It's more for prestige getting into the top six but it's all credit to the boys when you look at the budget compared to who we are competing with."
