Captain Jon Richardson is among four players who have been released by Forest Green Rovers following their narrow escape from relegation.
The former Oxford and Exeter City defender, 30, started 120 Conference games in his four years at the Lawn.
Also leaving are former Norwich striker Zema Abbey, 29, midfielder Adam Garner and defender Sekani Simpson.
Defender Matt Gadsby remains under contract but has also been placed on the transfer-list by boss Gary Owers.
Owers is not looking to keep Ryan Clarke, Michael Taylor, Luke Graham or Liam Coleman following the end of their loan spells.
However, the Rovers boss has offered new deals to Julian Alsop, Ryan Harrison, Damon Searle, Bruno Teixeira and Mark Beesley.
The club has not been able to offers deals to striker Guy Madjo and defender Abdou Sall with the pair believed to be out of the country.
