Teenager Haines signs for Grays

Grays Athletic

Grays Athletic have continued to shape their squad for next season by signing Mark Haines from Northampton Town.

Defender Haines has joined the Blue Square Premier club on a one year-deal.

The 18-year-old initially joined the Essex side on work experience in April and will now step up to the full squad for next year's campaign.

Haines is manager Mick Woodward's latest addition to the side, following on from the acquisition of Stuart Elliott and Ishmael Welsh last week.
