Frail wants to see more thought from his strikers
|
Hearts caretaker manager Stevie Frail felt his side let themselves down as they drew what he had billed as a must-win game with Falkirk.
"It was very frustrating as we controlled large chunks of the game but we let ourselves down going forward," he told BBC Sport after the 0-0.
"From back to the middle I thought we did okay but we kept taking the wrong option in the final third."
"It was tame in part although I don't think we did too badly today."
A share of the spoils keeps Hearts three points behind sixth-placed Falkirk, with two games remaining before the league split.
"Even if we'd won Falkirk have the better goal difference but we'll keep working and keep fighting," added Frail.
"I don't know if I'll be here next season but we need to make sure we start next season in the proper manner even if we do make the top six."
