Livi could not buy players until the Dorado dispute was resolved

First Division outfit Livingston have reached agreement with the Scottish Football League to lift a ban on the club operating in the transfer market.
The West Lothian club were banned from buying players until a dispute with defender Manu Dorado was resolved.
Livingston chairman Pearse Flynn said the embargo, which had been in place since January, had been lifted.
"We have agreed a number with the football authorities with regard to the Manu Dorado issue," Flynn said.
The chairman said the agreement meant that manager Mark Proctor would be able to bolster his squad.
"We've already held talks with some players with a view to them coming in for next season," Flynn told a fans' forum at Almondvale.

The SFL's management committee placed a transfer embargo on the West Lothian club and fined them £5,000 in May last year.
Frenchman Dorado was axed in 2006 after refusing a pay cut following Livingston's relegation.
The SFA and the SFL decided that the club had broken the player's contract and that they could not enter the transfer market until the matter was resolved.
