Basso joined Hearts after leaving Auxerre last summer

Hearts goalkeeper Anthony Basso is in talks with Livingston about a possible move to Almondvale on loan.
The Frenchman has already turned out as an unnamed trialist for the First Division club.
And he was left behind by Hearts as new manager Csaba Laszlo took his squad to Germany for a pre-season training camp.
Livingston were forced to seek another goalkeeper after Italian Giordano Vanin left for personal reasons less than a week after signing a three-year deal.
Talks between Basso and Hearts about a new contract broke down in April, with the club unwilling to meet his wage demands.

The former Auxerre goalkeeper made just eight appearances since joining the Edinburgh outfit last summer.
Meanwhile, Livingston striker Leigh Griffiths has signed a new contract that ties the 17-year-old striker to the club until 2011.
Livi chairman Angelo Massone views Griffiths, who had a year of his previous deal still to run, as one of Scotland's top young players.
