Niedzwiecki was expected to join Hughes at his new club

Manchester City have confirmed the appointment of Eddie Niedzwiecki as first-team coach and Kevin Hitchcock as the club's new goalkeeping coach.
Both worked at Blackburn under Mark Hughes, who recently left Ewood Park to take over as City manager.
Ex-Chelsea and Wales keeper Niedzwiecki coached at Chelsea and Arsenal before moving to Blackburn in 2004.
Hitchcock, who was also a keeper for Chelsea, joined Blackburn after a spell on the coaching staff at Watford.
The pair were both widely tipped to join Hughes at Eastlands before the start of the new season.
