Maamria hands Brown new contract

Ryan Brown has signed a new two-year contract with Blue Square Premier side Northwich Victoria.

The former Port Vale full-back is the first signing of the summer for Northwich manager Dino Maamria.

"A number of clubs inquired about Ryan in January and I made him a promise that if the club stayed up then we would look after him," said Maamria.

"I'm glad to say I've done my bit and that's happened and Ryan wants to be a part of our future."
