Paton says he turned down better offers from other clubs

Partick Thistle have confirmed the capture of defender Paul Paton from Queen's Park.
The 21-year-old had previously signed a pre-contract agreement with the First Division club.
Thistle manager Ian McCall told his club website: "He is a player that I naturally have very high hopes for.
"That is reflected in the fact that we have given him a three-year contract. I firmly believe he has the potential to play at the highest level."

Paton, who made his Spiders debut in 2005, had attracted interest after helping Thistle's Glasgow rivals consolidate their place in Division Two this season.
"I could have picked up more money elsewhere, but I'm really excited about joining Partick Thistle," said Paton.
