Rotherham United manager Mark Robins has insisted that midfielder Mark Hudson will not be leaving the club in the summer.
The 27-year-old has scored nine goals for the Millers since joining from Huddersfield Town last summer.
Hudson's form has caught the eye of other clubs but the Millmoor boss says he is not for sale.
Robins told BBC Radio Sheffield: "He's under contract and it's important we keep a squad together."
But Robins knows it will be hard to build for next season while the club is still in administration.
"The sooner things can get resolved the better and we can try and build on what we've got for next season," he said.
Meanwhile, defender Stephen Brogan has told BBC Radio Sheffield he hopes to return to the Rotherham first-team by December.
The 20-year-old suffered a broken leg against MK Dons in January, but is now off crutches and making a steady recovery.
"It's going to be a hard road but I've been told I should be looking towards my first game by December," Brogan said.
