Turk on brink of Whites contract

Salisbury City midfielder Wayne Turk is on the verge of agreeing a new deal with the Wiltshire club.

"Hopefully we can get it sorted next week. I probably will, fingers crossed, if they're going to stay part-time," Turk told BBC Radio Wiltshire.

"This is where I want to be, I've been here too long to go - eight or nine seasons now," added the 27-year-old.

Turk shared the Salisbury supporters' player of the year award with Matt Robinson, who is already set to stay.
