Left-back Marc Tierney enjoyed playing at the heart of Shrewsbury's defence in Saturday's 2-1 defeat by Hereford.
The 22-year-old says the Shrewsbury players were disappointed to be beaten by their local rivals but hopes they get back to winning ways at Barnet.
"I felt quite comfortable at centre-half and if asked I'll do it again," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"We're all really gutted. We've got to pick ourselves up We've got to go there and take it out on them."
